To get to the genealogical data, click on either
surnames, or on an alphabetical list.
Then click your way to the ancestors and relatives of interest. On each page,
if you'll wait for the page to load completely, you should arrive precisely at the person whose link you clicked.
I found some of our ancestors listed in the
National Portrait Gallery database.
I have no idea whether the portraits are currently on display at these locations, but thought I would list them anyway. Here is a link to the portrait locations.
You'll note some individuals have a + sign next to them. This indicates that there are additional family tree links at
that person. In an effort to make them more understandable, I've changed the appearance of notes and sources from the way they are normally shown in GED2HTML output. Let me know what you think!

It's in text form, so you will have to set the tab spacing in your text viewer to make the columns line up.

The "sources" are not always correct, as my Family Tree Maker software has scrambled the data a bit. On the whole,
however, I really like Family Tree Maker. If you feel like it,
try using their Internet Family Finder to search for individuals. There's a lot of data out there, if you have the time and patience to really get into it!

- October 12, 2003:
1. Added an interesting note from David Michaels, in the notes for ? Michalowsky.
2. Added infomation about descendants of Adolph Michael, graciously provided by George Buxbaum.
- December 4, 2002:
1. Added several dozen individuals.
2. Removed an individual and his email address from the database, at his request.
- October 15, 2002:
1. Back on the air again after a long hiatus. Have added several hundred individuals since the last update.
- November 25, 2001:
1. Added information about Clarence E. Patchin and some of his descendants.
This information was generously provided by Lois Eckley.
2. Added many more Social Security numbers. There are now over 500. Soc. Sec. #s can
be used to find an individual's parents, residence, get their signature, and some other
potentially useful things - by contacting the Social Security Administration and requesting
a copy of the individual's Form SS-5.

1. Made corrections around Polly Patchen/Wolcott Read.
2. Found burying places and date information for a number of the Patchins in the Thousand Islands area of NY.

1. Added some interesting notes for Lucius Denison Watkins, provided with great kindness by Larry Miller.

- March 25, 2001:
1. Added details of names and dates around Lucius Denison Watkins, and cemetery locations.
2. Added a few more Patchin cousins.
- December 14, 2000:
1. Added details of names and dates to Ruth Watkins family and siblings.
2. Added many Patchin cousins descended from Eleazer and Betsy that moved from Connecticut to Ohio. Includes detailed burial location for a few!
3. Added many Stoddard cousins.
4. Added Hayward ancestors.
5. Added picture of gravestone of Rev. Anthony Stoddard (1678-1760) thanks to Muzi Michaels.
- November 14, 2000:
1. Added county names to almost all U.S. place names.
2. Added to Woodbridge line with the gracious help of Stephen Woodbridge.
3. Pruned the tree to include only relatives of Shel/Jay/Muzi (but that is still a lot of people!).
- October 31, 2000:
1. Added many notes to the David Patchin/Elizabeth Hull family, with thanks to Carole Binnig for providing information from the Patchin-en Family Association.
- October 30, 2000:
1. Fixed source citations which had been missing page numbers and other data.
- October 8, 2000:
1. Finally found the missing link in our (Michaels) Stoddard connection: Henry Thompson married Prudence Stoddard, and Prudence
was the daughter of Gideon Stoddard!!
2. Added many Patchins from the data and kindness of Carole Binnig.
3. Added some details of the Connecticut Patchins thanks to Muzi Michaels.
4. Added exact tombstone locations for Michaels relations in Montefiore Cemetery.
5. Fixed some problems of incorrect source citations.
- August 30, 2000:
1. Added data and pictures of tombstones in the Stoddards of Camden, NY thanks to the work of Ann M. Leuenberger, hosted on the web at genealogy.com.
2. Fixed up some problems with duplicate individuals.
- August 27, 2000:
1. Added more descendants of Prudence Wells and Anthony Stoddard, with great thanks to Joyce Stoddard. Still working on the tie-in to Hannah Thompson!

2. Corrected a mistake where I put a picture next to Permelia Patchin that actually was Olive Grierson. (Sorry again!)

1. Recorded with sadness the passing of Burnetta Wood - "Aunt Burtie" to my Patchin clan.

1. Added many relatives to a daughter of Jonathan Edwards. Many of the surnames are Woodbridge, and they seem to be proud of it, as it's used in many middle names. Also the name Jonathan Edwards is given to many in the line.
